Bottle at Crowbar, Cascais, 28/03/22. Clear golden amber with a decent light beige cap that dissipates to a meaty swirl. Nose is caramel malts, orange zest, grapefruit, toasted malts. Taste comprises orange peel, grapefruit, malt forward, light pine rasp, mellow tropical fruit esters, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced hop bitterness. Decent enough old skool leaning IPA.

TASTE: low hop flavor (citrus), followed by medium yeast and faint fruity esters (oranges) and cereal husk. medium-high bitterness with a dry and overly bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium to medium-high carbonation. astringency present. OVERALL: a poorly executed and unbalanced beer, with some notes that resemble a saison.
