0.33 l bottle from 'Hopfenrausch', best before July 2019. Clear, dark amber with a medium large, dense, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, floral and a little resiny aroma of strawberry jam, raspberry and hints of honey. Gently sweet, minimally bitter, quite malty, moderately fruity and slightly floral taste of strawberry jam, raspberries, a touch of citrus and traces of honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-resiny finish. Medium to full body, smooth, slightly creamy and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant beer with unusual flavours, a bit tame for an IPA though.

Intensiv hopfiger Antrunk, in dem eine trockene Bitterkeit mindestens auf gleicher Höhe ist. Nuancen von Karamell, nussig, würzig herb, deutlich hopfig bleibend. Herb hopfiger Abgang, vollmundig. 9/11/11/12/10/11

Buddel: Hazy to cloudy, deep golden with an orangey sheen, big and persistent creamy off-white head, moderate sweet-bitter (tropical-) fruity to grapefruity aroma, supported by distinctive traces of pale malt; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, pretty soft; lingering robust sweet-bitter finish with a drier (medical-) hoppy aftertaste. Chapeau! Really nothing wrong with it...

330mml. Bottle. Tasted on the 21/10/2018 at home. Many thanks koelschtrinker for this one. Color dorado oscuro con una buena capa de espuma blanca. Aroma de grano, maltas tostadas, levadura y un toque muy sutil de miel. El sabor es un reflejo del aroma con una presencia interesante de las maltas y el maíz. Bien compensada, con un retrocusto maltoso agradable. Next one please!!!

Süffig hopfiger, sehr frischer Beginn. Intensiv blumig, weich herb, feine Karbonisierung. Die starke Bitterkeit bleibt größtenteils verborgen, vollmundig, das Hopfenaroma bleibt konstant. Langer Nachgeschmack. 12/13/13/13//13

330mml. bottle as part of a trade with Koelschtrinker, many thanks! Tasted on the 06/10/2018 at home. In short: Toffee and dried fruits profile. Light honey finish. Sweet, Color amberino turbio con una espuma blanca mínima. Aroma marcado por las maltas dulces, pan tostado, toffee y frutos secos. En el sabor también se aprecian uvas pasas y frutos secos, llevando a un final medianamente dulce y seco. Está bastante bien conseguido el equilibro entre los frutos secos y las maltas. Agradable. Next one please!
