Almost clear amber color and a white head. Malty nose with a twist of orange zest. Smooth mouthfeeling. Sweet malty flavors, decent hoppy bitterness, sticky fruitty-orange flavors at finish.

Heinenhof Süffige Sünde, Fläschchen aus Tausch mit Pivnizub - Dank an Dr. H.! - Tiefschwarz, undurchsichtig. - In der Nase fülliges, weiches Röstmalz von bedrängender Süße, Mokka, Lakritz (eigentlich Süßholz, wie ein Blick aufs Etikett verrät), milde Erde, schöne Asche, mächtig aber sehr rund. - Antrunk füllig und sehr weich röst- und Münchnermalzig und mächtig süß (Süßholzwurzel), wobei die Süße gut eingebettet ist und allmählich runder Zartbitterschokolade, Mokkabohnen und ganz dezenter Zitrusfrucht weicht. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang nachhallende süß-dunkle Malzigkeit und dezente, dennoch ausreichende Hopfung, die dem unkonventionellen Bier einen traditionellen Abschluß verleiht. - Schöne Bierkreation aber auf Dauer doch etwas süß. 330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Slightly bready, minimally toasty and spicy malty as well as peppery spicy, yeasty aroma, hints of dark bread crust, some white pepper, black pepper. Taste is slightly dry, yeasty, peppery spicy, minimally toasty, bready, spicy malty, hints of dark bread crust, white pepper, light tart-ish, unspecific fruity counterpart. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Homogeneous, balanced, neither overly complex nor demanding - very nice.

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy dark golden beer with a off-white head. Aroma of oranges, sweet wheat malt, grapefruit, tangerine. Taste of grapefruit, pine, sweet wheat malt, some belgian yeast, tangerine.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, malty and fruity, slightly funky, yeasty spicy aroma, notes of caramel, fresh waffle dough, stewed fruit, whiffs of cinnamon. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly biscuity, pale and caramel malty, mildly yeasty spicy, slightly bitter, fruity hoppy, hints of caramel, waffle, waflle dough, some cinnamon, stewed fruit, orange peel; very light hints of alcohol in the finish. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice composition, harmonious and mild - very enjoyable.
