Bottle shared tha ks to Laurent. Clear dark brown with big head. Caramel, chestnuts, light earthy, plum, bread crust. Medium sweet, a bit less bitter. Creamy medium bodied. Nice.

50cl Fles, ergens in DLD gekocht. Als Weizen Kristall. Mistig (!) gouden kleur, witte kraag. Wat banaan, tarwe, boter, romig, nah dit is weer een typisch gevalletje Kristallweizen, saai, futloos, en vooral niet echt lekker.

From the edeka of Erdingen, the 3rd of august. Drinking it the same day after a full day of rulantica. Perfect at night, well balanced, dry and fruity, not too sweet, malty, fair bitterness, so refreshing before to sleep, 05.08.24

Picked up from Äpfel Getrankemarkt Moosburg and consumed at home Friday 20th March and again today Monday 23rd March 2026, we're still listening to The Notwist I didn't have Beef Carbonnade, when the Beef Carbonnade was defrosted I realised that I actually had a Broccoli cheese to accompany the Cauliflower Cheese and Roasted Carrots 😂. Pours clear gold with a mid sized white head, the head didn't last long. Straightforward hell, the bitterness is subtle but it builds a little, soft mouthfeel, a bit on the sweet side. Score: 6.5

Picked up from Äpfel Getrankemarkt Moosburg and consumed at home Friday 20th March and again today Monday 23rd March 2026, listening to The NotTwist and cooking (heating up) Beef Carbonnade and Cauliflower Cheese and Roasted Carrots. Pours mid/warm gold with a large sticky white head, good clarity. Sweet malts, a little chewy fruit, abv noted but not intrusive, solid Heller Bock. Score: 7.0

Hellgoldene, klare Farbe. In der Nase fällt ein winziger Hauch Pflaume / Zwetschge auf. Beim ersten Schluck merke ich sofort, dass das Bier etwas trockener rüberkommt, als ich das bei einem Hellen normalerweise gewohnt bin. Die Bitternoten bewegen sich aber in einem normalen Rahmen. Geschmacklich sind Frucht, florale Noten und Getreide (in dieser Reihenfolge) bestimmend. Durchaus schmackhaft, erfrischend und süffig. Der eine oder andere Pilstrinker dürfte damit auch ganz gut zurechtkommen.

It is a regular and classical dunkel beer on the Bavarian way, a little bit smocked, malty, sweet, some hop, well balanced, not bad, 06.09.16, drinking it at Prélaz, buying it or at the Aligre place or in Freiburg am Breisgau.
