An amber beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty and slightly hoppy. The flavor contains notes of caramel and a fine hoppyness, that gives it a hint of straw - and the combination gives it a dry bisquety end.

A copper colored beer with a small beige head. The aroma is very light, but contains notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is malty with hints of caramel as well as some burnt notes, giving way to a slighlty hoppy and bitter end.

A pale yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is slightly sour with primary notes of brewing mash. The flavor is sweet malty and again brewing mash being most dominant.

An unclear light yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is very sweet with loads of lemon - maybe enhanced by the fact that it was served with slices of both lemon and lime. The flavor is a borinug dry wheaty one, with some notes of lemon, that leaves You with a sourness on the lips. The end is dry wheaty. OK thirst quencher on a hot summers day, but nothing else.

Pretty close to black. Roasty aroma, a little bit nutty. Toasty, nutty flavour with a light roast bitterness and hints of sweet chocolate. Clean, but typically unadventurous.

Bright copper-amber colour. Fresh grain aroma. Toasty crystal and chocolate malt character. That’s about it. Quick finish. A real "thanks for coming out" rousse.

Can, Quebec Pavilion, 2010 Winter Olympics. Deep copper-amber with a thin head. Woody hop aroma is fresh with fruity undertones. The malt is rich with earthy, caramelly notes. Earthy, herbal character. The hop bitterness is moderate, but integrated well with the earthy malts. Old school IPA, but nicely crafted. 7-4-8-4-15 = 3.8

Draft, brewpub. Bright copper colour. Toasty, crystal malt aroma. Sweetish palate is timid and mainly of crystal malt. Toasty, moderately bitter finish. Billed as an IPA, but you can’t take that seriously. 7-4-7-3-13 = 3.4

Very pale, yeasty appearance. Quite close to white, actually. Malty, flowery, spicy aroma. Hints of citrus. Mainly malty, slightly spicy. Spritzy carbonation. Clean. Fairly bland. A little bit of acidity in the finish shows promise.

Light golden colour. Fresh bready malt aroma. Flavour is also of bready malt, but is less pronounced. Light character. A very simple beer, but no particular flaws.
