Description
Everything started in 1925 with our first cider mill. We opened in Lavandera, a small, countryside town just a few kilometers from Gijon. This is where it all began.

Nowadays, Lavandera is still home to the headquarters of Casa Trabanco cider house and where we work every day. It also serves as a meeting point for the many visitors and friends we welcome through our cider-tourism project.

Bottle - Light green apple and funk with a touch of bread. Clear pale gold with a nice bubbly head. Bubble and carbonation are up front, apple peel, light acidity and a touch of a tart dry, tanic finish. Yeasty notes appear as it warms.

12oz bottle from City Swiggers. Stemless wine glass. Clear, pale, sparkly chablis. Smells of semi-sweet fleshy fruit. Honey, flowers, skin, fermentation. Tastes of more honey, sweet browned apples, a middle of sharp/thin bitters, pears. A tart finish of salt & citrus. Well carbonated without being too harsh. Thin, but with a slickness. Faint natural funk through it all, but very light & inoffensive. Like it.

70cl bottle, chilled. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold colour, with no head and a sharp aroma of vinegar, apple, funk. Flavour is barnyard, fruity, apple, woody oak, vanilla, some vinegar, solventy, with caramel, straw, hay, and drying tannin. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry funky light tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a clear light gold with visible carbonation and a white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has a bit of barnyard with earthy apple and a slight acid underlying. Flavor has a nice earthy musty apple with some sweetness and just a hint of acid.
