[ As Wildervanker Abbingh's Porter ].Unclear medium brown colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark malt, bread, light to moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, oxidide, bread, sweet malt, caramel. 33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Wildervanker Brouwerij. Hazy dark yellow with a thin white head. Ginger aroma with some smoke. Sweet peppery taste with some more smoked wood notes. Nice bitter spicy finish. A rather strange combination, ginger and smoke, but is does work out allright.
