In het weekend van de Open Monumentendag, op 12 en 13 september 1992, stelde de Stichting Museumbrouwerij De Roos de oude brouwerij open voor bezichtiging. Het brouwerijpand dateert uit 1850 en valt sinds 1993 onder de monumentenzorg. De brouwinstallatie en het authentieke interieur zijn behouden gebleven. Sinds 13 september 1997 wordt er weer bier gebrouwen in de nieuwe bierbrouwerij, die achter de museumbrouwerij verrees. In 2017 is de bierbrouwerij, na een grondige update, feestelijk ingewijd.

Oranjegeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en licht fruitig met iets van appel, bramen en rozijn. Apart witbier.

Bottle from Jumbo Middelbeers @ home. Brown colour with a medium sized beige head. Smells sweet, caramel, malts. Tastes sweet, malty, some raisins, hint of plum. Pretty nice dubbel. Medium body, nice carbo.

Hazy and light brown. Aroma and flavour have some caramel sweetness. Feels quite thick and rich. Not a traditional lente bock but that's not a bad thing.

Bottle @ Winterbierfestival Gouda 2018. Brown-red color. Off white head. Aroma's: sweet, pear, with herbs retronasal. Slavor is sweet, herbal, spices. Medium bodied. Herbal bitterish finish.

7 3 7 3 14 Bottle at Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda ‘18. Brown with a small tan head. Aroma of herbs, caramel, malt and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Almost clear mahogany with beige head. Raisins, sweet malts, quite some spices, alcohol, cloves. Lots of spices here, especially strong cloves. Huge sweet and bitter. Full bodied. Too much cloves I think.

Sampled from bottle at Goud Winterbier 2018. Dark brown with light tan head. Sweet roasted malts, pink chewing gum, donald duck chewing gum from the 80s, clove juice. Moderate sweet and bitter.
