Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2017. A murky dull beige coloured pour. End of the cask so it is extremely murky with lots of sediment. Aroma Is woody apple, meaty, delicate elderflower citrus,. Flavour is composed of medium sweet apple, floral notes, elderflower, bitty yeast, sweet apple. Palate is bitty,, lowish carbonation, tangy finish. Little sicky note.

500ml bottle. Hazy yellow golden colour, no head and aroma of straw, apple, woody, leather. Taste is sourish green apple with straw & biscuity notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart finish. OK.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pale yellow colour, no head and nose is apple, hay, straw. Flavour of sweetish ripe apple, fruity, green apple, apple skins with some hay, straw & slight tannic notes. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, mellow finish. Quite OK.
