500ml bottle from John’s Beer & Wine, St Ives. Pours clear, light pink. Sweet berry aroma. Taste is clean and sugary with a commercially fruity taste. Cranberry doesn’t sweet too vivid, instead possessing a sticky-sweet sugary flavour. A few sips was enough for me.

Bottle thanks to McNeillR. Appearance - like looking into a jellyfish, Clear and has shape but no colour. Nose - elderflower going into nettles. More intense than usual examples. Taste - big elderflower, sweet pear thing too. Palate - medium bodied with a massive tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish, Overall - another good one.

Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. This had been lurking at the back of a cupboard for some time, as I feared it would turn out to be a sickly sweet mess. However, I was pleasantly surprised as, although it’s no perry, it contained some dryish fruit character and avoided excessive fizziness. Pale green in colour and not bad. The label refers to it being made in Somerset, so I wonder if this is a Thatcher’s re-badge.
