Bottle from Cherry Reds, Birmingham, consumed 12th March. After a number of pales ales I fancied a cider but had already had the Hogan's tap offering previously. This turned out to be a fairly basic cider with concentrate flavourings, very sweet and spritzy. Pear and peach comes through fine but in a sugary way. Some apple is detectable which is good. As a refreshing light bodied palate cleanser it worked well at first but does start to drag after a while.

Bottle from Ashby's Of Salcombe, Malborough. Almost clear, but a very pale green. A sweet cider, neither the pear or mint on their own come across too stated, but the combination is very flavoursome. The mint is best as a spicy-style aftertaste.

Bottle from Pennine Wine & Cheese Co, Hebden Bridge. Clear pink colour but despite this it's strawberry is about in equal measure to its lime in taste. The cider has a small sweetness.

Draught at Greendale Farm shop, Exeter. As Annings Gold Cider, 4.7%. Clear golden colour, white foam head and aroma of apple, fruity. Taste is sweet, apple fruity, with citric acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying acidic finish. Quite drinkable

25/1/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear almost colourless with a small frothy white head. Aroma of synthetic pear, spearmint, minted peas. Heavy sweetness, moderate body, sticky, soft carbonation. Very sweet finish. Not so good.

500ml bottle from Mainsgill Farm Shop. Clear with just a tinge of yellow colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of mint, apple & pear, sulphur hint. Taste is sweet, apple, pear, mint, sugary. Medium bodied, high carbonation, finish is very sweet. Too sweet for me.

Bottle from Sidmouth Wines, Sidmouth. This cider takes the peach side in terms of appearance, although very light coloured in this respect. The fusion of the two fruit extracts in this one proves sweet and tasty.
