Description
Here at Thornborough Cider we have been making small batches of award-winning cider from locally-sourced apples in the small village of Thornborough on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales since 2010.
Our cider is hand-pressed each autumn on a traditional rack and cloth cider press only using selected local Yorkshire apples. It is then left to ferment with minimal intervention through the long Yorkshire winter before being bottled-conditioned in spring. Our cider contains a careful blend of over 50 varieties of apple and, unlike most ciders, it is unsulphited, unpasteurised and unfiltered.

75cl bottle. Misty pale yellow appearance. It is indeed quite dry, with fleeting green apple skins but the fruitiness is but a mirage unfortunately. High spritz. Needs a touch more fruitiness to shine through.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 25/06/22. Lightly hazed golden orange with a good sized white cap, as it goes for a cider, that thins to a swirl. Nose is orchard wood, apple skins, hedgerow, light funk. Taste comprises earthy apple, tannins, sharp apple skin, orchard wood, apple core. Medium bodied, fine to light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent.

Panda courtesy of mR_fr0g, cheers Fergus! Hazy golden colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates and aroma of fruity apple, mineral note. Taste is sweetish, apple, fleshy fruity, some apple core and skin, tangy, alittle yeast hints and drying acidity. Medium bodied, soft foamy carbonation, dry crisp tangy finish. Nicely drinkable.
