Draught @ SOPP Tampere 2015. Aroma has tropical fruits, fruit juice and some resiny malty note. Feels floury. Flavour has grapefruit, gooseberry bush and some minerals. Also hints of orange juice. Finishes with menthol and lingering hops. Feels somewhat messy. Gets better towards the end of the glass.

Taste is smooth, hoppy and fruity with some pine, resin and dry rye notes and bitterness. Finish is crisp, hoppy and lingering bitter with some juicy fruits, pine, resin, hints of rye and caramely malts. Pretty crisp and balanced IPA.

Draught @ SOPP Tampere 2015Pours dark reddish orange with a massive foamy head. Aroma of caramely malts, toffee, syrup, fruits, berries, hints of floral notes and glue. Taste is sweet, malty and caramely with some syrup, loads of grassy hops, hints of lingering bitterness, some citrus, pine and resin. Finish is sweet, malty and caramely with some grassy hops, berries and toffee. A bit unbalanced, sweet and malty but a bit stuffy DIPA.

Aroma has ash, coffee and licorice. Also sweet chocolate tones. Flavour has coffee, some licorice, ash, tobacco and some floury tones. Oaty notes appear at the middle of the glass. Also very slight feeling of contamination in the background, which occurs in the finish as gooseberry bush leaves and grows a bit stronger towards the end of the glass. Otherwise, decent and a very dry stout.

Draught @ Gastropub Nordic. Aroma has sweet fruity tones, resin, caramel and vanilla. Flavour has resin, tropical fruits, woody tones and hints of menthol. Also some vanilla tones. Finishes with grapefruit and minerals. Sweet and heavy, very American DIPA.
