Draught@Hopping Brewsters. Slightly hazy amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head, that leaves a nice lace. Aroma is fruity, floral and grassy hops with some mild earthy notes. Flavour is bitter fruity, floral and resiny notes with some sweet malts as well as some wooden and grassy notes. Balanced, and bitter IPA.

Draught@Hopping Brewsters. Orangeish amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral along with some maltiness to it. Flavour is fruity, floral and quite crisp on the malty side. Actually this is quite basic, but at the sametime very refreshing. Wellbalanced, clean and straight forward.

Draught@Hopping Brewsters. Deep coppery orange colour with a mediumsized foamy head. Aroma is pumpkin, some grassy and floral notes along with some nice spices and quite caramelly notes. Flavour is rather similar in a good balance. Quite creamy palate. Almost like a hybrid between a Xmas brew and a classic pumpkin beer.

Draught @ Gallows Bird, Espoo. Aroma is nice with licorice, toffee and some mellow hops. Flavour has ash, licorice, vichy notes and hints of tobacco. Palate has stinging CO2. A bit too thin and ashy - and gets unpleasant (but mellow) vegetable tones & odd buttery vibes after some sips. Way too dark for an amber ale and lacks the resiny & sweet malty tones typical to the style. Looks and feels like a black IPA.

Draught @ Kerho, Tampere. Aroma is mellow with toffee, malt and hints of vanilla. Also some vegetables. Flavour has bready malt, gooseberry bush, vegetables and some toffee. Fizzy palate with stinging CO2. Not that clean or good.

Draught @ Nordic. Aroma has resiny tones and grapefruit. Also hints of cream and raspberries. Flavour has weird berry tones, some wort, raw bun dough, raspberries and mellow resiny tones. Also some grapefruit and gooseberry bush leaves. Perhaps not completely fermented? Gets somewhat acrid at the end of the glass.

(Keg at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20141216) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, peach and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, peach, mango, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A clean and straight forward American style IPA.

(Keg at Kaski, 20141103) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spices, malts and molasses. Palat was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, spices, molasses, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, malty and bitter. The spice combination used was not familiar to me but it was a bit disturbing. Still the beer was clean and not too extreme.
