Draught @ BrewDog Helsinki. Aroma has gooseberry bush, grapefruit and funky yeasty tones. Flavour has strong menthol notes, grapefruit, citrus, gooswberry bush and funky yeast. Somewhat refreshing, like more aggressive version of Hiisi Hukka. Gains some harsh herbal bitterness at the end of the glass.

(Keg at BrewDog Helsinki, 20150403) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, caramel, malts, citricness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. An IPA that’s almost like an amber ale. Nice.

(Keg at BrewDog Helsinki, 20150403) The beer poured yellow and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, soap, coriander and smoke. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, coriander, herbalness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A weird brew: it began like a weird wit and finished like an IPA. Not bad.

Pours dark reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of caramely malts, toffee, sweetish fruits, some berries and syrup. Taste is malty, sweet and a bit stuffy with loads of caramel, toffee, hints of berries, resin and grass. Finish is malty, sweetish and caramely with some hops. A bit too sweet and malty for my taste.

(Keg at Oljenkorsi, 20150320) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, spiciness, molasses, tartness and berries. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were berries, tartness, sweetness, spiciness and malts. Aftertaste had berries and tartness. A very different beer but I liked this one. Weird enough.

Smell of banana, yeast. Pale yellow colour, white head. Aroma of banana, hops, some earth, some alcohol. Attempting to be some IPA/Weizen hybrid? Half-lively carbon. Slightly oily, rather light body considering the alcohol content. Rather weird, but still good.
