Bottle picked up at The Aberlour Deli. It pours clear pale greenish gold with just a touch of a fizzy head. The aroma is sweet, apple pie & custard, dried apple, boiled sweets, light tango, touch of earth, hay, whisky tang and dull wood. The taste is crisp, pretty sweet to be honest, candied apples, sugary, candy, rhubarb & custard sweets, weak whisky vibe (like a chilled hot toddy) with a white sugar finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Disappointingly sweet and could be done with a stronger whisky character. Meh.

330ml bottle. Pale golden yellow colour, no head. Aroma is quite light on the apples, whisky notes are subtle. Taste is much the same, light sweet apple and subtle whisky and oak notes. Light-medium body, soft carbonation, very smooth mouthfeel. Higher ABV is noticeable but doesn’t diminish the drinkability.
