Kent Brewery aims to drag Kent beer into the 21st Century with new tastes and experiences mixed with the best of Kentish brewing traditions. We aim to bring innovation back into the Kent hop trade to feed a new and vibrant brewing market and so help to rejuvenate the local hop-growing industry.

6/9/2024. Cask at the 37th Chappel Summer Beer Festival. Pours clear bright amber with a minimally bubbly head. Aroma is malty, caramel, fruity, twiggy, touch nutty. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish.

6/9/2024. Cask at the 37th Chappel Summer Beer Festival. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, bready, biscuit, dried fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. It’s fine.

Gravity cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival, 12/07/24. Clear golden blonde with a lasting frothy white cap. Nose is melon, tangerine, grass, papaya, soft malts. Taste comprises light grapefruit, orange zest, papaya, melon, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Tidy cask pale.

Gravity cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival, 12/07/24. Hazed orange to amber topped with an off white head. Nose is mixed tropical fruit esters, pineapple, melon, grass. Taste comprises tangerine, soft malts, light breads, papaya, mandarin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow juicy hop bitterness. Okay easy drinking cask IPA.

Taste comprises roast malts, cocoa sprinkle, brown bread, charr. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Decent enough cask stout.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 15 June 2024) Golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grass, citrus, biscuits and floral hops. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass, biscuits, fresh leafy hops and a mild grassy/citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fresh and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest Summer 24. Aroma is bitter with underlying malts. Opaque dark gold. Thin frothy foamy white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Resinous. Underlying malts. Slightly syrupy. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Bitter if unadventurous.
