Gravity dispense at the 'Beer Like Your Grandad Used To Drink' Beer Festival, Ramsgate Tunnels, 13/05/23. Copper with a good sized lasting off white head formed of frothy bubbles that retains well. Nose is earthy fruits, toffee, biscuit, hedgerow. Taste comprises fruit slice, toasted malts, toffee, grains, hedgerow, herb. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Decent well executed bitter.

Gravity dispense at the Royston, Broadstairs, 13/05/23. Clear golden with a good sized off white cap that escapes edgewards. Nose is bitter orange, grass, melon, citric tinged straw, hint of grapefruit. Taste comprises orange peel, melon, light breads, citric tinged straw, grapefruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close spiked with grassy to light juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough cask IPA.

Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, stone fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, yeasty, earthy, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 21st April 2023. Slightly hazy amber with shallow off-white foam affording full lacing. Citrus hop aroma. Lemon peel and juices in-mouth with grassiness. A developing bitter, grassy citrus finish. Light bodied with an engaging texture. Exquisite.
