Cask at Egham Beer Fest, 13/04/17. Sweet yeasty aroma. Dark brown. Thin off-white head. Sweet. Prunes. Light. Watery. Soft carbonation. For an ABV of this much it slips down well. However kinda bland and kinda unsophisticated.

Cask. A very gentle session pale ale with a quite ethereal aroma and flavour of citrus and red fruit hops. A perfect light golden appearance and low head were matched with an easy mouth feel. Maybe this should have been drunk at the start of the evening to gain full appreciation, but it was very good.

Cask at Kiity"s. Clear amber color, good cloudy head. Fruity nose has some kind of tobacco twist. Light-bodied. Light caramel, earthy hops, pale malty. Easy, quite typical "not much vibe" English real ale.

Cask at the Holborn Whippet. Pours bright deep chestnut brown with minimal off-white head. Aroma of hop, malt, caramel, fruit, nut and bread. Moderate sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Toward medium body and slight oily texture, carbonation is soft to flat. A decent and very traditional brown ale.

Cask at The Bell - Walthamstow. Pours clear brown with a creamy, tan head. The aroma holds moderate roast, some coffee grounds, cocoa. Light sweet flavour with more roast, harsh ashy bitterness, scorched earth, baking cocoa, some pine, grapefruit. Light bodied with soft carbonation; not the best condition. Finishes with some vegetal notes, more harsh ash, moderate astringency, citrus peel, lime zest. A little sketchy overall.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2017. Black beer thin tan head. Well it definitely smells of near on 10% abv. Boozy in the mouth liquorice and molasses flavour. As i say a little hot. Definitely a sipper rather than a gulper. Settled down a bit. Ok if too hot.
