Cask at the Cock Tavern - London. A somewhat classic British barley wine: lots of tangy ripe fruits, a bit of old leather, old woody ship. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming with lots of tangy fruits, berries, some toffee. A fair effort overall.

Half, cask ale as Altered State American brown ale at Craft Beer Co, Islington. Disappearing beige head, fair lacing. Crystal clear dark brown coloured body with ruby highlights to it. Fruity caramel on the nose. Malt-fruity taste of nuts, chocolate and some dried fruits. Roasted bitter ending even with a backdrop of fruit. Soft carbonated. Good drinking (London 23.09.2014).

Craft 100 at Craft Clapham. Cask. Very hazy gold beer, residual white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Sweet malts and floralness. Sweet tangy fruits that comes over as a more generic fruit than pumpkin specific. No heavy spice. Finishes semi dry with more floral sweetness. Pretty drinkable.

Cask at Craft 100. It pours hazy amber with minimal head. The nose is soft, sweet squash, pumpkin, straw and mild acidity. The taste is soft, fruity, orange, juicy mango, apricot, earth, pumpkin pie and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not too shabby. I like it.
