Description
Kent Brewery aims to drag Kent beer into the 21st Century with new tastes and experiences mixed with the best of Kentish brewing traditions. We aim to bring innovation back into the Kent hop trade to feed a new and vibrant brewing market and so help to rejuvenate the local hop-growing industry.

Craft100 fest at Craft Clapham. Almost clear gold beer, good bubbly white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Light fine carbonation. Smooth light pale malt. Little floralness. Light but fairly bitter grapefruit. Grapefruit and orange peel. Light dry finish. Not bad at all.

Cask at the Well & Bucket, Shoreditch way, 27/03/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is juicy hops, orange pith, light grapefruit, hint of pine, citric pithdom, soft bread dough. Taste comprises citric pithdom, grassy, punchy hop notes, mandarin, soft bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent sessionable affair with a nice hop bite.

Cask. Appearance- clear, straw, golden, half a finger white head which diminishes. Aroma- ginger, floral hints, hoppy, citrus, zest. Taste- malty, bitter hints, lemony, citrus, hint of ginger at the finish, quite a thin mouthfeel. Smells better than it tastes.

Gravity disepense at the Happy Man Spring Beer Festival, 14/03/14. Clear golden with moderate off white spotting. Nose is citric sherbets, earthy tones, straw, light pear, caramel pudding, pithy orange. Taste comprises bread dough, mineral bite, melon, peach, tangerine. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent GB, punchy hop notes and plenty of citrics.

Old Fountain. Cask. Almost.clear gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, softish and dry with fine carbonation. Light dry pale malt. Good pithy orange hops with lesser fresh orange. Whispers of lemon.and grapefruit. Light dry finish with a mild carbonated bite. Nice juicy hop fruits but itโs a tad dry.

Cask (handpump) @ EBF14 2013, 14th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE. [ As Kent Altered States ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, toffee, caramel, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130328] 6-3-6-3-13 Cask (handpump) @ Craft Beer Co - Clerkenwell, 82 Leather Lane, Farringdon, Greater London, England EC1N 7TR. [ As Kent Altered States ].Clear medium red amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, leather notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a long duration, leather - basement - grass, dry, nutty, dusty, light woody. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150217] 7-3-7-3-15

Old Fountain. Cask. Light haze on this deep amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and light but it has soke body. Light fine carbonation. Smooth malt, bare whisper of cream. The smoke is quite strong but it avoids being acrid. Touch of dried fruits. Light dry finish with something of a spicy linger.
