Description
Kent Brewery aims to drag Kent beer into the 21st Century with new tastes and experiences mixed with the best of Kentish brewing traditions. We aim to bring innovation back into the Kent hop trade to feed a new and vibrant brewing market and so help to rejuvenate the local hop-growing industry.

Gravity cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival, 12/07/24. Light golden blonde topped with a white head. Nose is fresh citric zest, grass, melon, orange peel, papaya. Taste comprises mandarin, soft malts, grass, tangerine, soft breads, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. Decent cask pale.

Gravity cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival, 12/07/24. Black topped with a khaki head that thins to a swirl. Nose is toffee, dried fruit esters, light charr, dates. Taste comprises roast malts, cocoa sprinkle, brown bread, charr. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Decent enough cask stout.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 15 June 2024) Golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grass, citrus, biscuits and floral hops. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass, biscuits, fresh leafy hops and a mild grassy/citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fresh and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest Summer 24. Aroma is bitter with underlying malts. Opaque dark gold. Thin frothy foamy white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Resinous. Underlying malts. Slightly syrupy. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Bitter if unadventurous.

12/7/2024. Cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival. Pours close to black with a small bubbly/frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is ashy, roasted malt, dark fruits, blackberries, chocolate, coffee. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation.

(Cask at Tapping the Admiral, Kentish Town, London, 9 May 2024) Dark brown colour, almost black, with foamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark bread and herbs. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark bread, a touch of mint, roasted grain and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Light body, dry. Tasty and well balanced mild. Nice one.
