Schooner on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Cloudy amber beer with thin creamy white head. Nose is oranges with a touch of malt. A bit of zing, full-bodied. Finish is orange sherbet with earthy, piney notes. Late on, bitter orange makes an appearance. Really nice IPA. Not quite sure where Royal Blood fits in, but they're good and this beer is good too.

From a 375ml can on 17/4/2018. Pours a clearish medium golden with a small head. Has a fair dash of tropical fruit in the nose. Quite fruit forward taste wise, with lots of sweet orange, mandarin, mango and peach. Finishes with a relatively firm grapefruity, resiny bitterness. The palate is slick and the carbonation moderate. As Curly Joe noted below, this is just a really solid IPA - nice sweet/ bitter balance and quite quaffable. Go Canberra!

From a 375ml can n 25/2/2018. Pours a dark reddy brown with a medium head. The aroma is faint, with light fruit, malt and mineral notes. Flavour wise, there's some sweet fruitiness against a caramel malt background. Finishes off with a pretty decent hop kick. Medium bodied with average carbonation. No stand out, but a pretty decent red IPA.

Can. Amber with a cream head. Aroma of toffee, strong bread, dried fruit, hints of tropical fruit, grass, herbs. Quite sweet with lots of toffee but the body is quite light and very clean so there's a clear view to the end which is fairly bitter and a little resinous. Not bad.

Taster at Australian beer festival. Original nose is skunk/wet socks but dies down. Cloudy amber beer with thin white head. Laces well. Light and somehow not quite right. A bit sweet, a bit off. Not quite sure what style they are aiming at.

375ml can into shaker. Deep golden copper coloured beer with frothy white head and the occasional bubble. Patchy lacing. Nose of grass, earth, pepper, malt, and pine. Full bodied and smooth, taste is initially sweet and malty. Finish is much more intensely bitter. Nice IPA, pulls no punches.

375ml can into shaker. From Plonk, ACT. Thanks to Bitterlady. Pours a slightly hazy golden bronze with a solid frothy white head. Light carbonation. Aroma of pine, lemon, grass. Some malt too, nice. Flat mouthfeel, little fizz on the swallow. Subdued earthy hops followed by nettles and a little malt sweetness. Finishes with a lingering bitterness. Dialled back APA, easy to quaff. I like it.

Taster at Beer Deluxe, Sydney. Amber beer with thin white head. Slight haze. High carbonation, sweet malt nose. Laces well. Super easy-drinking, touches of malt and fruit. Light body, short sour grainy finish. True to style but inconsequential.
