Keg at the ORB, Darlington. Golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of apple, funk. Taste is sweetish, fruity apple, apricot note, funky, with woody oaky hint, some acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, drying tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable

Draught at ORB Darlington. Slightly hazed golden colour, no head and aroma of apple, fruity. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity notes, pineapple hint, tangy, tart with some oak, wood, and drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 28/04/24. Golden amber with a white head that thins to the edge. Nose is bitter apple, burnt caramel, funk, apple skins, damp oak. Taste comprises bitter sweet apples, apple skins, light funk, caramel, light, smoke, hint of whisky. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent drop.

500ml bottle from Broom Hill Farm, West Auckland. Slightly hazy golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of mellow apple, oak barrel. Taste is sweetish, oaky, apple, fruity, alittle funk, drying with woody barrel notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

22/9/2020. Bottle courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours still clear dark gold with no head. Aroma of tart apples, caramel, citrus, touch of vanilla and light woody whiskey barrel notes. Taste was quite tart, a little vinegary to start, but became a bit sweeter and more mellow in the finish. Moderate body, no carbonation. Tart and sweet finish. Grew on me.

500ml bottle, thanks to danlo! Shared with Soph in the baking lockdown sun. Clear-ish pure gold looks. Aroma is sweet, some butterscotch hints. Taste is fairly rich, medium dry with good butterscotch swirls, nice oaky influences with a gentle tannic grip. Decent.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Dry apple, soft funk, dry tannins not really in a leathery way but more earthy apple peel and dry oak, green apple, some more wood, dry lemon peel. Light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied, no carbonation and quite dry finish. Pretty good.
