Description

Bottle. Murky dark brown with a huge tan head - carbonation was excessive. Sweet malt and nut aroma with some yeast. Flavour dominated by yeast with some nuttiness and vague hint of coffee. Alcohol was very prominent for a 5.5% ABV beer. Not very porter-like.

Bottled. Dark brown/black colour with huge brown head. Aroma is berries, roasted malts with some slight caramel and alcohol. Flavour is burnt wood, roasted malts, caramel, sweetish berries in the background and slight acidicness. Aftertaste is acidic fruits along with some rather burnt notes. Pleasant.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, reddish brown with a light brown head leaving some lacework. Lightly vinous from the roasted malts. Medium body with lightly sweet, roasted malt and some fruity accents. Subdued bitterness. Nice alright. 311007

Bottled (from GBBF2007). Hazy yellow colour, big white head. Aroma is overriped/rotten apples. Flavour is acidic apples and sweetness. I find this beer quite unpleasant. Strongly carbonated.

Bottle- A very hazy looking brew with the appearance of a Wit Bier. The aroma is very enticing and smells very strongly of apples. The apples also feature prominently in the taste with the initial taste being very sweet before becoming a bit tangy and tart. Not a bad beer but I found it a bit sickly by the end of the bottle so I couldn’t drink much more than one bottle!

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with big foamy head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, candy sugar and very sweet. Flavour is caramel malts, some hops and a bit earthyness. Wellbalanced, and hides the alcohol well.
