Description
Good clean traditional farmhouse cider served from oak barrels.

It all started way back in 1977 when I made a chance remark to my Grandmother. I had been showing a keen interest in my Grandfather’s cider-making equipment which lay dormant at Stonehouse Farm in Kenn, North Somerset and mentioned that one day I would love to have a go at making some cider. My Grandmother’s response was to say “Well, all the cider making equipment is out in the shed. If you’d like to restore the old mill and press you’re welcome to have a go!” That really was the start of it.

Cask-conditioned at the Orchard, Bristol 08/05/09. as "Aardcore". Gold with no head. Sweet apple juice up front with some dry pips, core and yeast to finish. Ok. Has the best pump clip ever - made up by the Oscar winning Aardman animations across the road from the pub - a salivating, big mouthed apple.
