Appearance- pitch black, with a solid 2-3 finger brown head. Looks perfect. Aroma is coffee, toffee, chocolate, cocoa, hints of vanilla, dark malts, chocolate biscuit. Taste- nutty caramel malt, caramel shortbread, chocolate biscuit, toffee, roast malt, coffee, sweet marzipan undertones, coffee cake, silky smooth. Abv very well-hidden. Very good.

13.6fl.oz. can. Great dark chocolate and espresso nose. The beer starts dark creamy and rich. Hints of fruity berries over a deep roasted and dry chocolate heaven. Dark dry caramel, roasted espresso, soft velvet chocolate. Nitro creamy tan head stayed on a jet black still body. Dark chocolate, chocolate chip muffin & malt aroma. Full bodied, very creamy with soft feel & clean back. Baked cakes, milk chocolate, cocoa, lactose, syrup & coffee tastes. The is far too easy to drink....

Can from Tesco. Black body with a thick tan head that holds. Faint lacing. Aroma of coffee, hazelnuts and treacle. Flavour of tiramisu and roasted malt. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Looks amazing and has great depth of flavour.

Wow. No pic! This site is so lame. Caffreys with sweet cocoa and some milky coffee. Drinks ridiculously easy (which definitely turned shite like Caffreys into a massive seller). I don’t know. It’s good, but it’s not normal.

Can thanks to a colleague. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate. Taste is more of the same. Smooth texture. Nothing wrong with it, but a struggle to get excited about.

[40cl widget can from Tesco, Warfield.] A glossy black pour with a thick caramel coloured nitro head; strong coffee and alcohol aroma; rich and smooth in the mouth with alcohol and coffee to start then milky chocolate to follow. A bit overpowering.
