Bottle shared at home courtesy of Maakun. Hazy golden with white head. Anise seed and laurel up front, sweet malts, bit soapy. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Bottle shared. Hazy orange golden with small white head. Cumin, aniseed, green tea, light malts and soft spicy yeast. Under medium sweet and just medium bitter. Under medium bodied with weird dry feel. Bleh.

Oakey indeed, not very smoked. Solidly sweet, quite thick, only slightly refreshing. Not what I'd call a saison.

Heavy and boozy. Pretty sweet, nice and malty. A solid quad, but nothing exciting.

Bottle (thanks fatphil). Pours brownish. Aroma is sweet, malt, grains. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, malt, booze. Overall: not good.

Bottle sampled at the Groningen beer festival shared with Shivandragon. Thin ring tan head. Clear black pour. Licorice aftertaste. Pretty good.

8e Noordelijk SpeciaalBierfestival, Groningen, shared with #Deanso, from bottle, brown with a light beige head. Aroma and taste contains a lot of laurel, and a hughe amout of licorice, caramel, some nuts, grain, some anice, long licorice aftertaste.

@Bottleshare avond met @MaartenRF10 schenkt wazig/troebel amber met beperkte kraag. aroima van drop en anijs, smaken zijn matig zoet, licht bitter, sterk kruidig, zwakke body,glad, zacht erg droppig met een overdaad aan steranijs... neen dit is niet gebalanceerd...
