Donkerbruin bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is warm en krachtig, licht bitterzoet met iets van anijs, wat drop en rozijnen. Heel goed.

33cl Fles bij Boozy Wijf, Lauwersoog. Troebel amber kleur, witte kraag. Licht rokerig, wat kruidig, hint van gist, wat doperwtjes maar niet heel storend gelukkig, citrus, bitter finish. Lichte body. Degelijk.

33cl Fles bij Booze Wijf, Lauwersoog. Troebel bleekgele kleur, witte kraag. Doperwtjes, moeras, wat korianderzaad, citrus, tarwe, veel teveel kookvocht en doperwtjes. Vrij dramatisch.

Bottle at home, darker brown beer, small head, aroma is dough, malt, light fruit. Taste is the same, sweet, light bitter, bit fruity, not bad.

0.33 l bottle via EU Secret Santa 2019, courtesy of ShivanDragon (thanks Edwin!), best before August 2022. Clear, ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of raisins, plums, toffee and cough syrup. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, quite fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy taste of toffee, raisins, plums, bitter almond and cough syrup, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy and gently boozy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Quad but nowhere near the likes of Rochefort or St. Bernardus.

Flesje met dank aan mijn broer. Donkerbruin troebel bier met matig schuim. Aroma van drop en smaak van pruimen en drop. De dropsmaak blijft even hangen.

Bottle, thanks ShivanDragon! Dark amber color. Malt, toffee and soft vinous notes in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor. Alcoholic. Toffee, raisin, slightly perfumed. Somewhat sticky.

330mml. Bottle tasted on the 22/11/2018 at Groningen. Slightly hazy yellow colour with a medium and good lastinh white head. Aroma is coriander and other spices in addition to the yeast and the sweet malts. Taste is intense spiced with lot of coriander and pepper. Finish is extremely spiced. Next one please!
