2/6/2022. From BIAB at the 35th Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival. Pours clear pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is very appley, pulpy, twiggy, berry, woody, touch herbal and musty. Moderate sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Pretty decent, especially aroma.

Sample thanks to Grumbo. Pours a deep hazed amber. Aroma of stewed leafy apple fruit. A little thin and watery on the palate, taste similarly leafy, some cassonade, some dusty tannin, earthy caramel. Interesting.

Sample, many thanks to Grumbo! Reddish varnished amber looks. Rich fruit on the nose. Taste is moderately rich with a gentle tang, some berry notes emerging alongside the rich medium apple fruit, a little juicy. Good stuff.
