Description
In 2013, Crazy Dave's wife told him to 'get a hobby'. He had been making wine and beer since the age of 13 so thought he'd have a go at cider making using fruit from his own trees in Littlewick Green, Berkshire. The next steps: From Crazy Dave's crop of 2013, he made 80 litres and shared it with family and friends which proved to be successful. Crazy Dave's business plan was simple - 'to sell his cider and have his customers returning to buy a second bottle, at some point in the future'. From then to now: Formerly an Operations Director of a large, international civil engineering company, he gave up his job in 2016 to follow his 'passion for apples'. Crazy Dave can now be found making his cider in Holyport, Berkshire (unless he's out collecting apples, on his market stall/delivering to customers etc etc!).

Bottle - a hazy pale yellow pour with a lot of fizz that quickly dissipated. A light apple and straw aroma, some zing in the mouth. A light dry sweet apple flavours but with a nice dry sharp apple tartness and crisp dryness in the finish. Refreshing.

33cl bottle from the Rebellion Brewery Shop. A hazy pale-ish pour with a ring of bubbles and a lively fizz; a very alcoholic tart apple aroma; sweet dessert apple taste to start; then really tart, before a softer, well balanced, clean, crisp, dry finish.
