Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Slightly hazy yellow color, white head. Arona and flavor are wheat, yeast, "vlierbloesem" I guess is the fruitiness in there and a light mix of sweetness and citrus. Not bad. 8-7-6-7-6.5

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Clear orange color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, dusty hoppy. Flavor is malts, a bit dusty, straw, a bit sharp bitterness. Hmm uninteresting tbh. 8-6-6-6-6

Bottle at home, from DeBierkonig, Amsterdam, 1st February 2026. Pours a dark brown and highly frothy and bubbly white head. Aroma is cola, malts. Taste is malty, cola, over carbonated - not a great BIPA

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Firm dark malt aroma with soft roast, caramel, dried fruits, touch of raisins. Medium sweet, light to mild bitter. Medium body. Good.

Aroma of dark malt, shitloads of liquorice, some roast, hint of chocolate, mild coffee. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Sticky mouthfeel. Decent beer, but it’s liquorice overkill for me.

Aroma of bready malt, mild smoke, hint of chocolate, a spicy note, hint of liquorice. All very mild. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitter finish. More Rauchbier than Schwarzbier. Thin and unimpressive.

Bottle at home. Aroma of wheat, fruits, lemon peel, coriander, yeast, ginger, spices. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Hint of wheaty sourness. Body is medium. Not a bad Witbier at all, above-average aroma for the style.

Bottle at home. Aroma is soft sweetish fruity esters, pale malt, some floral and spicy yeasty notes with a hint of citrus and honey, touch of hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Has a bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Fairly enjoyable but average Belgian Blonde style beer with a French hop twist.
