Cask pint at Perch Brewhouse. Clear brown pour with a silky beige head. Malty aroma, toasty, woody. Taste is nutty, toasty, with a heavy, creamy consistency. So smooth with just a trace of bitterness on the palate.

Gravity pour at Steel City Beer Festival 2024, Kelham Island - mucky brown with no head. Malty forward beer, tastes much better than it looks, dates, cake fruit, not a memorable one.

Cask @ Perch Brewery, Sheffield. Dark clear amber-brown with a small head. Its smoked character is strong in aroma, but more so in taste, providing this darker malt brew's main character and lingering aftertaste.
