Description

0,33 l can, BB 12/28. Black in the glass, stable small one finger foamy dark beige head. Looks really good. Sweet berry fruity on the nose, choco, vanilla, some bourbon. Taste starts also sweet berryfruity, choco, malt, present barrelwood and vanilla. Alhocolic in a pleasant smooth way. Slick and oily texture. Really nice one.

0,33 l can. BB 12/26. Cloudy and mid golden in the glass, small white head. Toasted grainy caramel aroma, soft orange fruity. Taste reminds me to Pims Cake, Orange, coffee, some choco, grainy. Little bit alcoholic. Soft bitterness, low carbonated. Little bit sticky to the end. Interesting stuff. My Baxbier No. 100. :-)

Can from Beerdome. I'm a sucker for rum BA and coconut, so yeah... Sweet and rich with notes of chocolate, raisins, some vanilla and roasted malt. Pleasant booze, rum barrel, light sticky sweet finish. Delicious.

Can. Color: Black, creamy brown head. Aroma: Well balanced mix of roasted malt and Bourbon. Taste: Again a well balanced mix of roasted malt and Bourbon, vanilla, some coffee and liquorice. Creamy, full body. Below average carbonation. Lightly warming mouthfeel at the finish. Very nice, well done barrel ageing.

Can from Mr Hop beer advent calendar Day 21, we picked this up directly from the webshop, Vernray, Netherlands. We had Clams, Feta, Chorizo in a rich tomato and onion sauce. Consumed at home Sunday 21st December 2025 after meeting up with Kerry, Oli and family at the International Weihnachtsmarkt in Bayerisch Eisenstein, we're listening to A Certain Ratio - Force following a recommendation from Oli. Pours warm gold with a mid sized white head, nice mouthfeel. A little juicy and the abv is noted but it's not intrusive. There's a little bit of punchy tropical fruit, overripe fruit, good beer. Score 7.3
