About
Two Towns Down is a brewing project founded by Sandy McKelvie.

Sandy started his brewing career in the Isle of Man before returning to his native Scotland to complete the Brewing and Distilling Degree at Heriot Watt University. In his third year he was also the in-house brewer at the Hanging Bat which included collabs with the likes of Six Degrees North.

Once the four year course was complete he took a brewing position at Fallen Brewing Co. before moving on to head up recipe development and barrel aging at Black Isle Brewing Co. Having recently relocated to 71 Brewing in Dundee, Sandy has taken the opportunity to launch his own project, showcasing innovative and cutting edge beers while still drawing inspiration from classic brewing philosophies.

Can from Salt Horse, Edinburgh. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and heavy cocoa. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Oily and soft. 250726

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours murky orange with a rocky white head. Aromas of apricot, melon and orange zest. Taste is dried apricot, more melon and orange zest again. Creamy texture, light bitter finish.
