US Pint can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur city centre. Poured a mostly clear golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, pineapple. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, somewhat light, light herbal, juicy tart pineapple citrus, light floral, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Didn’t really get the coconut. The pineapple dominated. It’s ok. Nothing special.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Clear golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of honey, lemon and pine. Flavour of lemon and orange peel. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. A solid, straightforward west coast IPA.

On tap at the Meridian location. Hazy yellow pour, thin ring of fine foam. Citrusy aroma with grapefruit dominant. Taste is fruity, grapefruit, pineapple with a nice zesty bite.
