Bottle at home shared with Laura. Red brown color, medium sized pinkish head. Aroma and flavor are nice balanced fruitiness, red berries. Not sour, not too sweet, not too much tart at all. Just balanced and nice.

Bottle at home. Somewhat orangy color, full sized white head. Aroma is very floral imo. Flavor is malts, floral again, some notes of plant like hops, bitter, distant spruce notes. Body is decent to medium, carbonation is lively. Mwah.

75cl bottle from the brewery. Clear golden, stable, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of peat, tobacco, plum, golden raisin, charred oak, cooked apple, thyme, moist pepper, ham. Taste has sweet plum, apple & pear in a bready, doughy malt body surrounded by herbal & peated notes, a bit clove-like bitter and slightly 'meaty'. Floral & earthy hops in the finish, lingering bitter clove, peat (bordering on rubber) and warming whisky alcohol. Medium body, moussy texture, average carbonation. It's noticeable that the base beer is battling the barrel treatment a bit, but the result is better than expected.

330ml bottle, bought in Alsace. Pours a hazed gold, good white head. Aroma brings a fair triple sweetness, a hint of spice to taste, measured sweetness, a touch sugary, could be creamier but decent overall.
