Golden with a slight haze. Very candyish green apple nose. Sweet, candyish apple taste in a straw-accented pale lager. Sort of a corn pone note to the malts and Jolly Rancher to the fruits. You tell me how that’s supposed to work well together.

Flat-looking golden amber. Slightly spicy nose with bubblegum notes. A little light on the body with slight spiciness. OK beer, but without the body it never quite comes together.

Opaque beige. Slightly wheaty, lightly fruity nose. Spicy, spritzy character. Wheaty towards the finish with a hint of spice. Decent example.

Very fruity beer, winey, with a bit of caramel, grapes, and dark fruits. Not too much alcohol. Well-balanced and fairly enjoyable. Great fruit. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ice Bock on 27 Aug 2008 at 23:43 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. 341 ml bottle from MrManning!!! Nose of light hay (hops?), and a caramel and a slightly "off" note; hazy copper with a small beige head; flavor is kind of fruity, vegetal, and slightly sour in an odd sort of way. It doesn’t taste anything like most blondes I had had!

An orange amber lager with a thin off white head. Light sweet malt with german hops and light lactic notes. In mouth, this is a good lager, with biscuitty malt, lightly floral hops, nutty notes... I agree, this is better than Creemore! Thanks to Probstk!

Golden coloured beer with a thin white head. Aroma is of grannys smith apple peels, with light aicdity, quite pleasant and fresh. In mouth, a rather cloying unpleasant sweet apple, harsh notes, liek a bad diet nectar. Short in mouth.

Golden ale with a thick big bubbled head. Non descript light herbal malt aroma. In mouth, a lightly hoped ale with very little else, short in mouth, starting to be a bit off. LCBO in TO, courtesy of Karl.

Light copper colour. Spicy, toasty aroma. This character is subdued in the palate by an underfermented wortiness. Finishes off-dry. Bitterness is low. Uneventful generic amber/EPA.

Ligth golden colour. Aroma is grainy, lightly bready with light gasoline and cider off-notes. Grainy, grievously underfermented palate leads to excess sweetness and thickness of body. Jesus - throw in some diacetyl and you’d have a Soviet-style lager.
