Bottle from LCBO at Darren's. Dark black pour with very fine creamy tan head. Aroma is a bit raisiny, toasted malts, some slight hoppiness. Taste is rich and roasted malty. Quite good.

Bottle - Bourbon, vanilla and caramel notes. Jet black with a nice brown head. Bourbon, dark roast, vanilla, coconut and caramel. Well balanced, lots of bourbon flavours but little booze or heat. Nicely done.

Bottle - Pale malts and some light coffee grinds with some citrus. Cleanish gold with a decent white head. Citrus and some coffee. Odd, but not really the coffee hit I was hoping for.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice dark brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of vanilla, butterscotch and bourbon are quite dominant and pretty enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by a well-balanced mix of bourbon, vanilla and butterscotch with some light roasted malt notes. Quite a bit of residual sugar can be found in here as well. Body is full enough with an oily texture and good carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Very enjoyable beer that I would gladly buy again and share with friends.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of cloyingly sweet malt, medicinal notes, and cough syrup. Flavour brings out lots of alcohol notes, residual sour notes, and barrels. Something seems off here - I doubt the sour notes are intended. Not very drinkable or enjoyable.

Draft - Oak notes and light caramel with a light touch spice. Clearing copper with a decent beige head. Soured and spice caramel. This is odd and not sure what it’s supposed to taste like.

Bottle from the LCBO. Very dark reddish brown pour with a tiny dark beige head that disappears almost immediately. Nose is primarily dark fruit with a backing of coffee, dark chocolate and roasted nuts. taste follow the nose with some vanilla notes also present. Lightly sweet with a good level of bitterness and the alcohol making itself known but not overpowering. Full creamy mouth with soft carbonation. Nice stout.

Bouteille 341ml, gracieuseté de wilco, thanks Mike! Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka foncée fuyante. Arôme de chocolat noir, caramel, café, malt torréfié, un peu vert, boisé léger? Goût de chocolat noir, alcool, malt torréfié. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen-dense.

Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color Berliner with a large white bubbly head with no retention or lacing. Aroma of funky and tart notes with weird lemony notes. Taste is also dominated by lemony notes with some tart and funky notes clearly identifiable. Body is light with strong carbonation that didn’t last long. I could not really stand the lemony flavours and this one ended up down the drain.
