We particularly enjoy brewing old style beers such as porters, stouts and milds. We also produce an extensive range of pale beers and never miss an opportunity to create something new.
Our brewery is set in a beautiful rural location with a quirky little taproom and peaceful outdoor spaces.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2019 - London. Pours clear gold with a light, foamy white head. Huge lemongrass character, big bitterness after that. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Somewhat oily in the finish, with lingering grassy bitterness, lemon peel. So so.

Cask at Pigs Ear '19, day one, 03/12/19. Clear golden yellow with a well presented white cap. Nose is floral, perfume, passionfruit, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises more passionfruit, elderflower, papaya, sweet malts, perfume. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Not enough balance in this … way to sweet and fragranced to be able to take down much of it.

Gravity cask at Pig’s Ear Beer Festival, Hackney on 4th December 2019. Impenetrably black with almost no foam or lace. Aroma of mince pies, plum, Christmas pudding. Roasty malts and rich spiced plum in-mouth, with a solid roast coffee, raspberry and plum finish. Full bodied with an engaging texture. Exquisite.
