Appearance: brassy copper color with a finger and a half of white foamy head which died off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral & piney hoppy tones with a subtle earthy oily hoppy tone underneath; light malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a bittersweet character; finishes piney and earthy hop oily
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, smooth along the tongue; low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: not bad, yeah, I could come back to this one.

Appearance: copper color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which died off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed dark berries and mixed tropical fruit cup of hops; light malt tones
Flavor: seems to do a decent job to blend the prior noted aromas to a sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes dark berry-ish and slightly pineapple-y
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness
Overall: not bad, I might be able to come back to this.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: clear golden color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: orange peel, honey and grassy hops with with a light caramel/toffee malt backbone
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to lead with the malts and honey as the orange peel and hops try to play with the balance but seems to fall a bit short; finishes grassy hoppy and honey
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, light smoothness, some hop aggression
Overall: nothing that really impresses me, but something needs to be done to make this a bit more cohesive.

Bottle to chalice.
Appearance: dark copper color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace; also observable chunks floating around
Aroma: peachy flesh sweetness, red delicious apples, sugars, earthiness, clove and a light Belgian ale yeast
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a sweet to semi-spicy character; finishes bready, peachy and apple-y
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; light smoothness but also some spicy grip on the tongue
Overall: this one needs some work. Maybe a recipe change might encourage me to revisit this one.

As advertised, this is a multi-faceted hop forward double. It starts with a pungent hoppy nose, fresh and zesty. All the expected hop elements are there -- citrus, tropical fruit, pine and grapefruit. The malt is understated but balancing. A touch of grassiness and a hint of juicy grapes completes a very tasty double IPA.

A very special beer. The nose is intoxicating, featuring dark brown sugar and mid-range hops. The taste profile is dynamic, with rich molasses, biscuity malt, prunes and both ripe tropical fruit and grapefruit in the significant but balanced hops. The body is rich and a touch syrupy.

A very punchy, grassy nose. The core taste profile includes rather dank, grassy hops, rye spiciness and some dark malt with some sweetness. I wasn’t expecting the grassiness but it creates a nice complexity.

Hazy orange body topped with a soft white head. Aroma is soft with grass and some resin and fruity hops. Taste includes complex hops featuring grass, grapefruit, lemon, and some floral elements overlaying some caramel sweetness and an appropriate malt base. Some thickness and sweetness compliment the challenging hops. Aftertaste is well balanced with elements of the hops, malt and sweetness carrying through. Not as bitingly bitter as the double green flash, but a substantial beer, as one should expect at %10 alcohol. A nice challenging sipper.
