Description
White Stork is one of the first commercial breweries based in Bulgaria and is a gipsy brewery (a.k.a. Ghost/Pirate/Nomad/Contract Brewery what ever you say). So we don’t own our brewing equipment and we don't care. This enables us to make the best quality and variety of beers possible at the best selected breweries and be able to reinvent ourself & our beers continually. We believe in the alchemy of craft beer, so be ready to be surprised!

12oz bottle from Hop Junkies pours a sunset orange with some soapy, white head. Nose has grapefruit, orange, some tropical fruit, soap. Smells a touch fake. Flavor is old school IPA, honey, pine, soap, citrus pith. Big, sticky, bitter finish. Full bodied. A bit heavy handed with C hops.

Sampled at Vitamin B, pours a clear gold with some sticky, white head. Nose has malt, perfume, a touch boozy, melon, flowers, some stone fruit schnapps. Flavor has dandelion, chrysanthemun tea, honey, white melon, a touch of Raki or schnapps. Finishes full bodied, oily. Weird. 6 4 6 3 11

40cl pour at Vitamin B in Sofia, pours a muddy amber with some creamy white head. Nose is interesting, not looking at the color you’d swear it was a black IPA, there’s bread crust and malt, pine and blood orange, some nuttiness, a little tomato. Flavor is big with hop at first, big grapefruit and big blood orange, soap and pine too. The malt sort of washes out because the bitterness is so high, maybe a little caramel lurking in the background. Full bodied, bitter finish.

Bottle @ home. Gift from Joes I believe, thanks! A bit hazy golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is lightly malts, quite hoppy, lightly citrussy. Flavor is similar: light to moderately malty, hops, citrussy lightly, hop bitterness. Quite pleasant.

Bottle at Nosferatu - Sofia. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a pillowy, virginal white head. Nice aroma, tangerine, lemon and grapefruit. Light sweet flavour with notes of pale biscuits, more tangerine, subtle grapefruit rind bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, further supportive pale bread, citrusy hops, restrained bitterness. Solid. Very drinkable.

Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 13/07/2018 at "Caminha Artbeerfest 2018", Caminha (Portugal). Dark amber to brown colour with a medium white head. Aroma is roasted malts, burnt caramel, ripe fruits and some sweet toffee. Taste is weird, a combination between an IPA and a Porter...with caramel, sweet malts, toffee but no hops...Interesting but not an easy drink and maybe not well balanced. Next one please!
