330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mandarine, orange, grapefruit, lemon, hints of mango, caramel malty background. Taste is crisp, bitter and citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of grapefruit, lemon, orange, mandarine, a touch of mango, grassy hoppy interludes, minimally weak, caramel malty background with minimally water-filled porousness.

Bottle shared at THT July. Black with light brown head. Massive fresh European oak, light marzipan, roast, sweet berries, “some oak”, like licking furniture, light roast and some sour berries. Oak. Over medium sweet and bitter and light sour. Over medium bodied. Damn that’s a LOT of oak.

Bottle shared at THT June. Near black with a ring tan head. Aroma of roast, overripe dark fruits, big oak, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

bottle from Heinrichs 3000 Kornwestheim. Hazy golden with a tall white head and floral-honey-ish nose. Full-bodied, good malty base with blossom honey detectable, but not very sweet. Yeasty fruity touch in the far background. Floral overall character, with a shy but pleasantly floral-citrusy hoppy finish. Very well balanced, the honey comes through perfectly.
