Description
Septem Microbrewery was founded by the chemist and oenologist Sophocles Panagiotou and the economist Georgios Panagiotou and began distributing its first batch of fresh unpasteurised beer in June of 2009.

Our mission is to provide our customers with fresh, high quality products by taking advantage of the wealth of aromas and flavours in malt and hops while searching for the diverse flavours they have to offer. Our vision is to become a premier Greek microbrewery whose products will be a point of reference for a distinctive quality beer, synonymous with gastronomic pleasure.

Clear pale gold with a bubbly white head and a fresh and fruity light malt aroma. Crisp and refreshing, zesty citrus, light biscuit malt, grassy bitterness and a dry finish.

330ml bottle from a supermarket in Plaka. Crystal clear golden body, tiny white head, poor lacing. Moderate smell of pale malt and herbal hops. Clean taste profile of grain, grass and white bread. Short tail, carbonated. Just okay. (Hotel room, Rethymno 21.06.2026).

330ml bottle, annual release 2023, 10,6 % abv. IBU 78. Bought at a supermarket in Plaka Kefalas.
Deep black body, missing head, shattered lacing. Promising, smoothly roasted chocolate malt on the nose, oaky. Powerful taste of chocolate, oak, and liquorice. Long lived earthy chocolate finish, nicely roasted. Slow drinking, great sipper (Hotel room, Rethymno 19.06.2026).

Tap at Beer Fabrica, Thessaloniki, Greece. Pours brilliant, clear gold, a little pale, with fine white foam. Aroma is of cereal, bready. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is mildly sweet, with medium bitterness. Final is fairly dry.

Słodowe, karmelowe, chmiele praktycznie niewyczuwalne. Barwa jasnozłota , przejrzyste, piana niska, lacing znikomy. Goryczka niska, karmelowa. Nic tu z pilsnera nie ma, jakby utlenione, piwo z terminem do 30.05.26, trzymane od początku w lodówce, w barwie nie ma wskazań aby coś się wydarzyło. W każdym razie jest przeciętne.

Nose - wood, almond, wafers and milk chocolate.
Taste - Blackjacks and dry wood with general nuttiness.
Palate - medium to full bodied, dry finish.
Overall - good.
