Bag in a box at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear dark gold no head. Sharp earthy hop aroma. Apple juice in the mouth. Still no carbonation. Some sweetness but then some dryness on the finish. Some brown sugar on apple skin flavour. Quite dry on the finish so decent tannins. Decent.

On tap at Cider Tap, pours a hazy red with no head. Aroma brings out candied cherries, and residual sweetness. Flavour is fairly sweet, with lots of cherries and residual sweetness. Leaves a large residual sweetness. Okay, but too sweet for me.

Bag in a box at Flower Pot Maidstone. Clear pink almost smells like a sweet rose wine. Apple fruity fruity as hell. 3.5/5 Re-rate multiple times in multiple micropubs in Thanet. My go to cider. It’s sweet but dry, refreshing, yet interesting, slight tannin, but utterly drinkable.

Draft @ Beer in Hand, Hereford. Sounds fruity but the girl behind the bar wasn’t sure so she poured me a glass and, yes, it pours a clear light pink with an apparent raspberry nose and a lusciously light, smooth berry influence in the taste. After further investigation however this appears to be a 100% apple cider! Hard to believe, but nevertheless this is quite nice. Just the thing my sister would drink.

Cask @ White Lion, Heptonstall. Golden cider, no head. Strong tasting and there’s an alcohol kick but a decent apple aftertaste.
