Description
We’re a smalltown brewery creating some of the tastiest beers by hand the whole way. Our team brews and packages all our beers in Uralla on our 20HL manual pneumatic brewhouse. Our brewery is small, we brew a lot of batches to keep up and the beer is fresh! We respect traditional beer styles and go hard with our hoppy IPAs.

From a 500ml can on 24/6/2018 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours dark brown with a big head which disappears quickly. The aroma is Belgian yeast and some stewed fruit. The flavour is more stewed, dried and dark fruits, some dark chocolate, brown sugar, spices, and some light vinous notes. There's just a hint of ever so slightly tart bitterness at the back. I would never guess it's 8.6%. Fullish body with soft carbonation. Belgian's are not really my thing, but I still occasionally find the odd one that I love. I don't love this, or even really like it all that much. Pretty bland.

Schooner on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Cloudy amber beer with foamy white head. Nose of apricot and dry white wine. High fine carbonation. Effervescent, herbal and bitter. Great drying finish, what a great beer! Pepper, chilli, spice, it's all here!

Bottle 640ml - Pours a chestnut brown colour with a small beige coloured head. Aroma is predominately malt, some caramel, roasted coffee and a little chocolate. A light toasty caramel malt taste, some brown sugar and coffee flavours. Not much in the way of bitterness and a bit lacking in the finish but a nice beer.

Pint on tap at The Local Taphouse, Sydney. Smells like a bonfire and sausages! Brilliant! Clear shiny bronze beer with thin white head. Medium stream of fine bubbles. Full mouthfeel, chunky texture, really viscous. At first light smokiness then BAM! Never-ending Aussie BBQ finish. Like a German rauchbier but somehow reminiscent of cold Australian country nights around the campfire. I love it!
