33cl Bottle from Douberd, thanks Christos! Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of dark malts, some cocoa powder, dark fruits, cardamon, hint of roasted malts, alcohol. Flavour is sweet, malty, dark fruits, cocoa, some roasted malts, cardamon, light herbal, caramel, spicy/herbal bitter finish with some alcohol. Medium bodied, firm carbonation. Not bad.

Many thanks to beerhunter111 for sharing. Smooth and fresh beginning, Lots of chocolate, smooth with a moderate bitterness. Easy to drink but a bit too soft-sweetish. No bitterness, chocolate soft but nice roasted with a smooth chocolate-sweetish body.

33cl bottle from a trade with Douberd, many thanks! Pours hazy very dark brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate, mint, herbs, vanilla. Taste of dark mild roasted malt, mint, chocolate, vanilla, strange!

33cl Bottle from Douberd, thanks Christos! BB 05-16. Hazy orange colour, big off-white head. Aroma of yeast, plastic, some citrus, oranges. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, lots of yeast byproduct, plastic, citrus, some sweet fruity notes, caramel, yeasty bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, over - carbonated.

33cl Bottle from Douberd, thanks Christos! Gusher. Murky brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, spices, ripe fruits, very Belgian, none of the promised oranges. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, fruity, yeasty, spicy, bitter finish. Light bodied, over - carbonated. Flawed, but certainly drinkable.

0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierhoeder’, best before April 2017, in celebration of Marcel Kittel’s win on stage 2 in Nijmegen. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, spicy and a little fruity aroma of peach, a bit of coriander, some pear and hints of clove. Sweetish, moderately spicy and a little fruity taste of peach, some coriander, clove and hints of pear, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little grassy and moderately spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite nice, but the hops must have been used very carefully.

Tap @ Tom Dumoulins awesome victory in the prologue of Giro 2016, medium sample at the brewery stand across the track. Clear golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma has grassy and fruity hop, slight spicy, bit malty notes. Soft to medium bitterness in taste. Feels a bit like a combination of a blonde and a hoppy pale ale, but with the balance right. Thirstquenching. Nice and tasty beer.
