On tap at FHF 2024, pours an opaque muddled yellow with a small white head. Aroma has some petroleum, dank hops, a touch of hopburn, and muddled yeast. Flavour is juicy and mildly dank, with dank hops, juicy stone fruit pith, and a touch of hopburn. Pretty good clarity for a hazy, finishing fruity and lightly dank. Decent.

473mL can, pours an opaque, milky, muddled brownish yellow with a large white head -- looks very unappetizing. Aroma doesn't have any obvious chalk, just some mild dank hops, juicy stone fruits, hint of citrus. Flavour is sweet and juicy, with lots of tropical fruits -- mango, pineapple, papaya -- with very mild dankness and no other obvious hop notes. Pretty sweet -- the residual sugar content must be higher than normal for the style. No hopburn or chalk, thankfully, nor really any bitterness. Good juice bomb.

473mL can, pours an opaque milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma actually smells pretty decent -- minimal chalk, some juicy stone fruits, gentle dankness, and some allium. Flavour is reasonably juicy, well-hopped, with minimal hopburn or chalk; there's a bit of dank hops, though they're not potent. Citrusy, mildly bitter finish, with a bit of the hopburn kicking in the finish. I'm pleasantly surprised by this -- better than expected.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Murky pale blond colour; creamy head, that disappears quickly. Excellent aroma: tropical fruits, pungent, ripe mango, bit of smelly onion. Full bodied, with smooth mouthfeel, it's just a bit starchy, but the residual sweetness keeps it in balance; massive hopping, it's very juicy, again playing with overripe tropical fruits, banana, caramelized pineapple; minimal hopburn in the finish, just to qualify it as 'correctly bitter'. I feel it's better than a lot of the stuff I remember from the Parallel 49 days; there is some lack of cohesion, but the can is superfresh (4 days), and it may adjust in a few days. Excellent.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 07/12/2024). Hazy golden blonde with full white head. Citrus hops, a bit oat-y, tastes is slightly subdued, but lingers in the mouth. Okay.

Poured from 473mL can. Cloudy yellow with foamy white head. Dank, citrus hops, chewy malt, feint juiciness. No hop burn, not a chalk bomb. Good.

Ridiculously hazy, super cloudy pale golden and straw coloured body with a three centimetre tall tan and zillions of small bubbles on the sides show through the 95 per cent opacity. Aroma of straw, grass, hay, flowers, oranges, curacao, light resin, relatively pungent hop scents and seemingly some bitterness and alcohol here. Full-bodied; Very rich, strong and pungent malts show at first with a strong alpha acid punch that brings out nice bitterness here, with a dry, crisp bite that has a good balance, but only a tiny bit of sweetness from oranges. Aftertaste is rich, full of flavours and a pretty nice complexity here that is bitter from lemons, grapefruit and oranges, a full-bodied maltiness that is easy-drinking enough, but some mellow sugars on the end of some lactose and crisp curacao finish. Overall, pretty nice for the style and showing Imperial Status from the rich malts and body with a good bitterness and enjoyable sweetness - great to sample from out West (BC) and worth the space in my suitcase when I brought it home across my country. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Broadway Liqour in South Vancouver, British Columbia, Columbia on 01-July-2022 for CA$5,50 sampeld at my house here in Washington on 21-July-2022.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some coconut and vanilla notes. Taste is also a mix of black chocolate notes with some coconut and vanilla notes and residual sugar notes. Body is a bit thin for style with good carbonation with no alcohol notes that are discernible. Enjoyable pastry stout but maybe would benefits from a fuller body.

Cloudy dark blond colour. Mild aroma of fruit, oranges, some BO. Good mouthfeel, it's moderately sweet, robust, with juicy malts, not chalky, and with juicy hops (mostly oranges). Not very bright, but good nevertheless.
