Jan 23, 2025 (7/3/7/3/14=3.4): Poured from 473mL can. Opaque murky blonde with small white head. Chalky hop burn. Needs time to rest. May try to open another can in a couple weeks. On tap was better.

175mL pour at the brewery taproom. Pours black with a tan head. Tons of cocoa, lactose, and vanilla on the nose. Flavour has slightly bitter cocoa powder, wafers, vanilla, and lactose. Full-bodied, though erring on the side of being sticky. Quite tasty, though not particularly complex or subtle.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a large white head. Aroma is timid, with gentle tangy hops, a bit of chalk, some light onion. Flavour has tangy hops, onion, and some pithy stone fruits. Not chalky, but still a bit muffled in hop expression; I wish the Nelson came out more. Better than Demo #1, but I'm still not hugely sold.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden yellow (not quite opaque) with a small white head. Nose has plenty of pithy stone fruits, a touch of dankness, and light chalk. Flavour is juicy but a bit rough, with juicy stone fruits, a touch of hepburn, some citrus, and some onion. Reasonably juicy and decent hop expression for a hazy, despite the onion and light chalk. Not bad.

Blond colour, maybe pale, certainly clean; medium sized head. Some piney hops in the aroma, but also some yeast products: gas, bread; mild dank/onion too. Dry mouthfeel, good body structure, some crisp element, some white bread favour, some Maillard results here; balanced bitterness, with gentle piney and dank notes.
Flawless, modern, clean; excellent.

16oz @ Ryan's (thx for the beer, man!) shared with Brian. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: daaank, on the car exhausts, juicy, tropical fruits. Taste: along the same lines, juicy, smooth. Overall: pretty good.

Poured from 473mL can (side by side with Demo #2). Hazy golden yellow with small white head. Citrus, feint onion, mild stone fruit. Fairly clean for a hazy. Like a hazy version of GPZ.

Can from Slow Hand, Vancouver
Cloudy pale blond colour. The aroma is wonderful, plenty of tropical fruit, with mild dankness. The mouthfeel is off-dry, but this time it seems to work; rare think among Hazies, this one seems to have a crispy malt accent, not hidden by wheat or oats muddiness; the hopping is, as expected, excellent, with barely the acceptable bitterness, but with plenty of tropical fruits, a touch of pine, and of weed. A bolder, sweeter version of this would be a banger.
