Cask Days 2018. Opaque yellow pour, with a small frothy white head. Aroma is dank pine needles, and juicy melon, and passionfruit, with a hint of lychee. Mouthfeel is full, and the carb is lovely. Finish is medium bitter, huge fruit, a little pithy, with a soft sweetness.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, white wine, earthy yeast and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit pith, peach, green grape, mango, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a slick, oily texture and soft carbonation. Juicy with nice bitterness.

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a large, foamy, short lived, brown head that laces. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, earth, vanilla and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, lactose, cocoa, molasses, vanilla and coffee in a dry, mild bitter, warming booze finish. Medium to full body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Not really getting any coconut notes, but still pretty solid.

473 ml can. Pours a golden color with moderate head. Aromas of candied grapefruit and doughy malts. Flavors follow same with additional citrus and a little bit of pine. Malt forward. Ok

473mL can. Pours opaque pale yellow with a small white head. Sour cream and onion chips with a ton of hop burn. Flavour is similar, plus a bunch of gritty chalk and putrid orange peels. Fuck me, this is egregious. The hop burn and chalk are unpleasant, plus the hop expression that is there is quite gross.

473mL can, pours an opaque milky yellow with a small white head. I can smell the hepburn from feet away – lots of chalk, allium, stone fruit pith, ugh. Flavour is off-putting, with intense hopburn, an almost sourness to it, chalk soup, and stone fruit pith. Full of hopburn, tartness, and muddiness, with few redeeming features. Not good at all.

Greyish pale yellow colour. Not much head. Pretty opaque. Smells like hop burn. Singes your nose hairs, and that's not a good thing. Maybe onion but really no other hop character. Lowish bitterness, some alcohol. Malts aren't bad, they bring some sweetness. The hop expression, though, is pretty bad. I mean, there's not much of anything you'd want in hops like citrus, fruits, or pine, it's just hop burn. Just not much attention to detail here.

Jan 23, 2025 (7/3/7/3/14=3.4): Poured from 473mL can. Opaque murky blonde with small white head. Chalky hop burn. Needs time to rest. May try to open another can in a couple weeks. On tap was better.

Jan 23, 2025 (8/3/8/4/16=3.9): Poured from the tap @ Slow Hand. Opaque murky blonde gold with small white head. Tropical hops, some pineapple, mild dankness, some hop burn.

175mL pour at the brewery taproom. Pours black with a tan head. Tons of cocoa, lactose, and vanilla on the nose. Flavour has slightly bitter cocoa powder, wafers, vanilla, and lactose. Full-bodied, though erring on the side of being sticky. Quite tasty, though not particularly complex or subtle.
